Step into the forest and find your way back to yourself. The Forest Therapy Journal is a beautifully crafted volume designed to guide you through 52 weeks of forest therapy-one for each week of the year-drawing inspiration from the natural rhythm of the season

Created by Matt Glover from Forest Therapy Victoria and Cam & Elise Greenwood from Zorali, this journal invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reawaken your senses. Each season-Autumn, Winter, Spring, and Summer-offers its own unique invitations for reflection, mindfulness, creativity and connection. Whether you’re walking through towering eucalypts or sitting beneath the changing canopy of your local park, these simple, nature-based practices help you pause, reflect, and realign with what matters.

Forest therapy is more than a walk in the woods-it’s a research-backed practice that reduces stress, boosts mental clarity, improves immune function, and nurtures emotional wellbeing. It reminds us that nature isn’t something we visit, but something we are part of.

What’s Inside…

Three years in the making, the Forest Therapy Journal is the result of a collaboration between the teams at Forest Therapy Victoria and Zorali. Drawing on our shared experience in nature-based therapy and outdoor adventure, we have created a journal that celebrates the restorative power of spending time outdoors.

The journal is divided into seasons and weeks, offering a gentle structure to guide your nature journey. Each week introduces a new Forest Therapy activity, with space to write or draw your reflections. Some activities are designed for a single week, while others, such as the ‘sit spot,’ invite you to return to them throughout the year.

The journal is intentionally flexible, allowing you to adapt it to your own needs and rhythms. If you love an activity, you can repeat it; if something doesn’t resonate, simply move on. There is no expectation to complete every suggestion—our focus is on helping you foster a meaningful connection with nature, reduce stress, and enhance your overall wellbeing.
