Programs and Activities

Forest Therapy Victoria exists to improve the health and wellbeing of the people of Victoria by reconnecting them to the natural environment.

Private Individual Sessions

Individual sessions are offered to people who recognise a need for therapeutic intervention, but find the counselling room uncomfortable, threatening, or just plain boring. Individual sessions are ideal for those wrestling with anxiety, stress, depression, grief, trauma, high sensitivity, and a range of challenging life circumstances.

Individual sessions are currently offered at the Narr-Maen Wetlands in Croydon Hills.

Private Group Sessions

Families, couples, or groups of friends that are looking for that ‘something different’ to do together can book a two or three hour session with any of the Forest Therapy or Wayapa guides. These are not counselling sessions as such, but are an opportunity to experience the health benefits of the forest in a unique and fun way.
